All clinical skill sets and techniques taught in the PORi Oncology Rehabilitation Curriculum are grounded in evidence-based applications within the scope of Physical Therapy , Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology practice. A defining feature of PORi’s approach is the integration of evidence-based practices from Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology, combined with specialized physiological and anatomical knowledge unique to oncology patients and a patient-profile-led rehabilitation care management system. This comprehensive expertise enables qualified practitioners to safely and effectively develop oncology-specific treatment plans and achieve realistic, goal-oriented outcomes for this population.
Location
LIVE-Virtual. Participants will need a computer with high-speed internet, audio and visual capabilities. Participants will recieve a manual to support active learning throughout the course. Presentations will not be recorded though interaction is high encouraged to support participants' learning.
